Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition (PS3)

The original was great value for money, the experience vast and rewarding albeit very hard work from the start when you’re left almost helpless after escaping the vault.

The game is so huge and complex in places there are a sea of bugs you can run into which spoil the experience a tad and also cause the system to run like a dog if played for prolonged periods of time.

The game of the year edition gives you 5 extra add on packs and can be had for just over 30 quid. For all it’s faults the overall experience is pretty much amazing, the game breaks the mould for depth of experience and the sheer vast amount of things to see, people to meet and objectives to complete. Not to mention the wealth of dialogue options you’re presented with coupled with the various stats and perks you can grant your character as you level up, the game can be played in so many different ways you’ll get something different out of playing it all the way through 5 times in a row.

If you’ve not played this game, buy it, play it, play it through again doing things differently and you’ll pick up on something new on each iteration. Well worth the cash and wasting a bit of time on.

First time I’ve said anything remotely positive on here for ages, so let it be done.
