Retarded protestors

I didn’t see the program Question Time the other night on the BBC, but I did notice the protests that were reported in the news; the goings on outside the BBC physical building.

I find this all a bit bemusing, lets break it down.

Whether or not anyone agrees with Nick Griffin’s principals and morals is one thing, however, his right to freedom of speech within the media is unquestionable. Putting aside his party’s ideals, the guy is an elected member of parliament which means, like it or seriously despise it, he is representing a group of people’s views.

The BBC in this case, were utterly 100% correct to invite him onto Question Time to answer any questions put at him via the audience. The best way to take down any fuckend that holds extreme ideals and allows the harbouring and support of racist values is to let them do it themselves via self destruction. From what I understand the guy didn’t come across as terribly intelligent and did nothing to assure anyone he was a decent public speaker, result.

Unfortunately the vast majority of BNP supporting people probably  won’t be watching Question Time or even understand/care about the complete cock their leader made of himself.

Anyway, the protestors, this confused me quite a lot. If you’re going to protest anything, protest against the cunts that elected this guy into power, not the BBC who did their duty of freedom of speech letting an elected MP onto TV, for once I completely and utterly defend them.

You see what is happening here is quite amusing, because by protesting against the freedom of speech of Nick Griffin, the protestors are actually protesting for nazism. Ironically they’re using their own freedom of protest/speech to protest against Nick Griffin having… his own freedom of speech. Protesting to suit their own means and ideals is fine, but using it to effectively silence others and remove their own freedom of speech to me has seriously strong facist tendancies.

I wonder if they realise this?

Perhaps… just perhaps, the protestors are themselves mildly below par intelligence individuals that seem to have utterly missed the point that by promoting their extremist views to silence others, be they the other end of the scale or not, they’re actually just as bad, if not worse than people like Nick Griffin.
